My Priorities for Our City

Hello Friends,
Running for city council is about more than policies — it’s about people. As a working parent raising a toddler, I know firsthand how the decisions we make at City Hall affect daily life for families, seniors, and small business owners. Balancing a full-time job, community service, and campaign work has only deepened my commitment to making sure our city grows in a way that serves everyone — not just for today, but for generations to come.
Attainable Housing
Everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home. I support policies that encourage a variety of housing options — from starter homes to senior living — that remain within reach for working families, first-time buyers, and long-time residents. Our growth should reflect the needs of the people who already live here while welcoming new neighbors responsibly.
Childcare
Affordable, accessible childcare is essential for a thriving community. I will advocate for partnerships and programs that expand childcare options, support early education, and ensure that parents can balance work and family life without facing impossible choices.
Strategic Infrastructure & Smart Growth
Our city must plan for the future without neglecting the present. I will work to prioritize infrastructure investments that address current neighborhood concerns — from roads to utilities to public spaces — while ensuring new development is thoughtful, balanced, and aligned with community values.
Thank you for your support and your feedback as I work to bring respectful, effective leadership to our city council.
Warmly,
Libby Taylor
